Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Ready Trainer One mobile application and readytrainerone.com (the "Service"), operated by Shift Human, LLC ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The service

Ready Trainer One is a personal health, fitness, and nutrition tracking app with an AI-assisted coaching feature. It helps you record and reflect on data from Apple Health, your food and hydration logs, your calendar, and your medications.

Not medical advice

Ready Trainer One is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Its content — including AI-generated coaching, daily briefings, and insights — is for informational and educational purposes only and can be incomplete or incorrect. Always consult a qualified clinician before making decisions about training, nutrition, medication, or treatment, and never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something in the app. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

AI-generated content

Coaching answers, the Daily Brief, the Today insights, and food-parsing results are generated by a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic) in response to your requests. AI output can be wrong. Treat food and nutrition estimates as estimates, not measurements, and verify anything that would affect your health with a clinician. What data is sent, to whom, and how it is protected is described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Ready Trainer One offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions:

Pro unlocks AI coaching narratives, the Daily Briefing, "Think harder" responses, and extended coaching memory. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. They renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID Subscriptions settings after purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice. Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Except where required by law or by Apple's policies, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.

Your responsibilities

Use the Service only for your own personal, lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or its AI features. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

Your data

Your health, meal, and conversation data is stored on your device; limited bounded context is sent to the AI provider only when you use an AI feature and only after you consent. See the Privacy Policy for details, including your controls for withdrawing AI consent and deleting your account.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shift Human, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Apple's standard EULA

Ready Trainer One is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies except where these Terms provide greater rights to you.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
