Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
The short version. Your conversations, food photos, and Apple Health data stay yours. We don't store, log, or read them on our servers. We don't run an email list. We don't use tracking pixels or third-party analytics SDKs in the app or on this website. We charge for a Pro subscription through the App Store — that's it.
1. What this policy covers
This policy describes how Ready Trainer One ("RTO," "we," "us") handles information when you use the Ready Trainer One iPhone app and the website at readytrainerone.com. It is meant to be readable, not a legal smokescreen. If anything below is unclear, email us — see the contact section at the bottom — and we'll explain it in plain language.
2. The data the app reads
With your permission, RTO reads data from Apple Health, which may include:
- Workouts (type, duration, distance, energy)
- Sleep stages and duration
- Heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV)
- Body weight and body composition
- Food and nutrition entries
- Medications and supplements (including your GLP-1 dose schedule)
- Hydration, mindfulness, and other health metrics you choose to share
You control what RTO is allowed to read. You can change or revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Ready Trainer One.
3. Where your data lives
Your Apple Health data stays on your device. RTO does not maintain a copy of your full health history on any server we control.
When you ask the coach a question — for example, "how did sleep affect my readiness this week?" — RTO assembles a small, question-specific snapshot of relevant data on your device, sends it to our coaching service so a language model can generate an answer, receives the answer, and then discards the snapshot. We do not retain that snapshot, the question, or the answer on our servers afterward.
4. What we log on the server
The coaching service runs as a small Cloudflare Worker. To keep it working reliably and to bill the underlying language model provider, the Worker records:
- Anonymous request counts, latency, and error rates
- Token usage counters (how much language-model capacity a request consumed)
- The version of the prompt that was used to answer
We do not log the contents of your messages, the contents of any health snapshot, the contents of food photos, or any other personally identifiable content. This is enforced in code — see the open work in the OneApp repository if you're curious about the technical guarantees.
5. Food photos
When you log a meal by photo, the image is sent to a multimodal language model so it can identify the food and estimate nutrition. The photo is processed for that single request and is not retained on our servers afterward. If you want a permanent record of the photo, save it through the iOS Photos app — RTO does not keep one for you on the server.
6. Account, sign-in, and identity
RTO uses Sign in with Apple. We receive an opaque, app-specific identifier from Apple — not your real Apple ID, not your real email unless you choose to share it. We use that identifier only to associate your subscription status and per-account quotas with your device.
We do not build a marketing profile from your identifier, and we do not share it with advertisers.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive a receipt confirming your subscription status, but we never see your credit card number, billing address, or Apple ID password. To cancel, manage your subscription in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
8. Bring your own key
Power users can configure their own Anthropic API key in Settings → Advanced. When you do this, requests are sent directly from your device to Anthropic using your key, and our server is not in the path. Your key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and never transmitted to us.
9. This website
The website you are reading right now does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics SDK. We do not embed third-party fonts. We do not use cookies for tracking. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps short-lived edge access logs for the purpose of running the service and defending against abuse; those logs are not used for advertising and are not shared with us in identifiable form.
10. Data sharing and selling
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, insurance companies, employers, or any other third party for marketing or risk-assessment purposes.
The only third parties that touch coaching requests are:
- Anthropic, which provides the language model that generates coach answers. Anthropic processes the request to generate a response and, per their API terms, does not train on API data.
- Cloudflare, which hosts our Worker and serves this website.
- Apple, for App Store distribution and Sign in with Apple.
11. Children
Ready Trainer One is not designed for or directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Your rights
You can:
- Revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
- Delete the app, which removes all locally stored data on your device.
- Email us to request deletion of any account-linked record (subscription status, quotas, opaque Apple identifier) we may hold for your account.
13. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects what we do with your data, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and call out the change in the app. Material reductions in privacy will be announced before they take effect.
